Surviving sickness.

Tuesday, April 3, 2012

Well I've learned the key to surviving any illness with John.  I can do incredibly well as long as I....never...ever...under any circumstances... sit still.  The second that I sit still I start to feel the exhaustion creep over me.  I can sit still while holding him because I will never dose off holding him (I have no idea why I can't do that, but I have never been able to.  Not even when he was a tiny baby.), but the minute that he is playing on his own and I sit down, it's curtains.

Here are a few highlights from our adventures with this virus.

Easter egg hunting.

Blurry, but I can't help but think that face looks so determined.

And this face says "I really needed that nap mama."

The good news is we are fever free and back to school and work tomorrow.  I guess that's good news for John at least.  He misses his friends and his teacher.  I could always get used to spending my days with my fella.

And today he's back to his old antics, shutting doors and moving trash cans. He really loves to empty all of the trash cans into one trash can.
